Sparkle For New Year's Eve!

If there is anytime to add a little Sparkle to your outfit, NYE is that time! Weather you like a little sparkle or a whole lot,  you should absolutely go for it! Below I've posted some looks I styled that all have some sparkle in them. My lovely models are my friends Mayra and her boyfriend Reyon. They were really good sports about the whole thing! Mayra works for American Express and Reyon is a speed skater. I appreciate all their help with this! One Year!

On a recent Tuesday night,  my work celebrated being open one year!

I can hardly believe we have been open that long!

This year has flown by.

SLC Comic Con

After returning from Seattle, my sister got us last minute tickets to comic con. 

Here's what I wore:

 

This is one of my favorite dresses, as it is a very flattering vintage fit, with a fun new print. 

My rings are from Claire's.  The KAPOW ring was perfect for the occasion, and added just enough comic spunk to my outfit.  My dress is from Ross. 

My belt is from Icing, and my heels are from Plato's Closet. 

Shopping and Dinner

I spent my Friday evening shopping with Heidi,

and then went to a delicious dinner with my family.

I love throwing little pieces of animal print into my outfits.

Its a great way to spice up and give a little fun

to what could be just a plain dress!

Day At the Museum

While enjoying the beautiful day in Seattle, we stopped by the Pacific Science Center.

I felt like it was a good day to wear a lot of color!

Seattle Streets

On my recent trip to Seattle last week 

I wanted to wear something comfortable and casual

for a long day out sightseeing!

I always love the classic look of stripes,

and this purse in one of my favorite vintage finds.

Rainy Saturday

 

Saturday started out as a very bright and sunny morning.

Come Saturday afternoon it was totally rainy!

Of course, it was still really hot outside.

Since it was so hot and humid I wanted to wear something

light and airy.

Since the dress had such a fun print,

I decided to keep the accessories simple.

Today I got to go to lunch with one of

my best girlfriends at an

adorable little spot called Avenues Bistro.

It had the most charming outdoor patio and the

food was delicious!

I've had the dress I wore hanging

in my closet with the tags on it since June!

I thought I better wear it ASAP

before it gets to cold.

Fun fact about this dress,

Its original price was $130

When I stumbled upon the dress, it had

been marked down to $90.

With an additional 30% off

Plus, Madewell  (like its parent company J.Crew)

offers a 15%teacher/student discount.

Meaning I paid about $50 for it!

That's a steal!
