Sparkle For New Year's Eve!

If there is anytime to add a little Sparkle to your outfit, NYE is that time! Weather you like a little sparkle or a whole lot,  you should absolutely go for it! Below I've posted some looks I styled that all have some sparkle in them. My lovely models are my friends Mayra and her boyfriend Reyon. They were really good sports about the whole thing! Mayra works for American Express and Reyon is a speed skater. I appreciate all their help with this! I couldn't of done it without them.  I've also included a few fun affordable pieces you can pick up now if you want to add a little sparkle to your NYE or just to help inspire you! Have a fun NYE everybody!

Festival of Trees

This year my work, Scheels entered a tree into the Festival of Trees, and I was honored to be able to decorate it!  Our theme was Gear, Passion, Sports. It was such a fun event, I can't wait for next year! Here is what I wore (in the ultimate Christmas spirit, deer sweater leggings and a cross shirt):
Cross Blouse- Urban Og
Statement Necklace- Scheels
Leggings- Urban Og
Watch- Scheels

Halloween Throwback -Aphrodite

Hi Everyone! With Halloween just a little over a week away, Kaya and I thought it would be fun if we did a few throwback posts of some of our old Halloween costumes.
So here we go!

This Halloween throwback is from 2010 when I dressed up as Aphrodite.
My friend Mayra went as Venus. (We thought it was a very clever idea)
I rarely spend a lot of time on my costumes. I'm more of a what do I have in my closet that I can make into a costume in 5 minutes or less type of person.

But this year was an exception. I worked really hard to sew both our costumes... by hand.
Clearly I was crazy. Or maybe I was inspired because I was in college and had a sewing class at the time.

So here it is! I was literally drenched in glitter...

What are you dressing up as for Halloween this year?
