Elephants

This week I worked downtown and needed to dress up a little.
I decided it was time to wear my new elephant button down.
I picked up this "Elephant March" shirt at Madewell when I was in NYC.
It was too adorable not to buy.
The motorcycle pants have become a new favorite of mine.
I love the fit, and the zippers, as well as the interesting details down the legs.

Movie Night!

This past weekend my boyfriend Kaleb and I decided for a fun, casual date night we would go catch a movie. Date night is always my favorite. ;) I  had to throw in a bit of leopard print to mix it up.

Family Dinner

For a family dinner, comfort is key. But style always trumps my choices. Here is a perfect blend of both. Stretchy legging like pencil pants, a button up tank, and a sweater provided a very forgiving ensemble, fabulous for when food is involved. 

Gold accessories went perfect with my mustard color pants. (Mustard is not a flattering color next to my face, but I still love it, and am able to wear it on the bottom)

Holiday Party

One of my old employers held a holiday celebration to unveil their new gifts for the holiday season.

I was lucky enough to score a invite!

The event featured new gift items, décor, food and fun! 

It was a great date night the boyfriend.

Shopping and Dinner

I spent my Friday evening shopping with Heidi,

and then went to a delicious dinner with my family.

I love throwing little pieces of animal print into my outfits.

Its a great way to spice up and give a little fun

to what could be just a plain dress!

Rainy Saturday

 

Saturday started out as a very bright and sunny morning.

Come Saturday afternoon it was totally rainy!

Of course, it was still really hot outside.

Since it was so hot and humid I wanted to wear something

light and airy.

Since the dress had such a fun print,

I decided to keep the accessories simple.
