Sparkle For New Year's Eve!

If there is anytime to add a little Sparkle to your outfit, NYE is that time! Weather you like a little sparkle or a whole lot,  you should absolutely go for it! Below I've posted some looks I styled that all have some sparkle in them. My lovely models are my friends Mayra and her boyfriend Reyon. They were really good sports about the whole thing! Mayra works for American Express and Reyon is a speed skater. I appreciate all their help with this! How could we not?! It was for such a great cause.

Festival of Trees

This year my work, Scheels entered a tree into the Festival of Trees, and I was honored to be able to decorate it!  Our theme was Gear, Passion, Sports. Back To Work!

Awhile back I used to work at a ticket office. It was a job I always enjoyed. After about 5 years away I decided to come back. I'm glad I did! I work with some great people and the job is really fun.
I'm still doing lots of merchandising, but its nice to be able to bring home some extra money. :)

The Davey Foundation

 

Last year I lost a dear friend of mine that I had know since I was in Jr. High School.

He was a wonderful kind person and losing him was very hard.

He was incredibly talented and very involved in the arts especially music, theatre and film.

His amazing mother came up with the wonderful idea to start a foundation for

emerging artists in his memory.

Last Tuesday  the kick-off event  was held on what should of been his 31st Birthday.

I was lucky enough to be able to attend.

Happenin Hoopla

This past weekend I hat the pleasure of attending a fabulous holiday party for a lady I used to work for. It was a blast! They had a live band, tons of delicious food, and even a mechanical bull! Family Dinner

For a family dinner, comfort is key. But style always trumps my choices. Here is a perfect blend of both. Stretchy legging like pencil pants, a button up tank, and a sweater provided a very forgiving ensemble, fabulous for when food is involved. 

Gold accessories went perfect with my mustard color pants. (Mustard is not a flattering color next to my face, but I still love it, and am able to wear it on the bottom)

Color Of The Year!

 

Its official! Last week Pantone announced the color the of year for 2014, and

it's Radiant Orchid!

 

The official Pantone has this to say about Radiant Orchid:

Dinner With The Girls

Had a fun girls night out with some friends last weekend! We headed over to PF Chang's for happy hour then did some quick shopping. Its always fun to catch up with the ladies!
